WORK OF TRANSPORTING 0-30 SUB-BALLAST AND 30-60 BALLAST MATERIAL FROM PIT TO THE LINE PLATFORM, LAYING AND COMPRESSING BALLAST FOR KP:407+900 AND 519+000 SECTION BETWEEN ESENKENT-HASANBEY AND TRANSPORTING FROM PIT TO ILOREN AND YENIDOGAN STOCK AREA (BALLAST SUPPLY EXCLUDED) WITHIN THE SCOPE OF ANKARA-ISTANBUL HIGH SPEED RAILWAY PROJECT

CONTRACT VALUE: EUR 11.185.900,00

By constructing high speed railway between Ankara and Istanbul, two metropolitan cities of our country, with a state-of-art technology and high standards, it is aimed to decrease the travel time to 3 hours for a comfortable and safe journey with high speed trains with a speed of 250 km/h.

In addition to decreasing the travel time between Ankara and Istanbul, this project will save considerable time in Ankara-Eskisehir, Ankara-Afyon, Ankara-Izmir and Ankara-Konya routes. The mentioned high speed railway project is a starting point for Turkish railways and will open a new era in our history of railways.

Ankara-Eskisehir high speed railway line section of the 1st Phase started to be constructed by the consortium of Spanish OHL Company with the leadership of ALSIM-ALARKO was commissioned in 2009.

Within the scope of this project, Tur Insaat provided service to the Main Contractor for the work of transporting 0-30 sub-ballast and 30-60 ballast material from pit to the line platform, laying and compressing ballast for km:407+900 and 519+000 section between Esenkent-Hasanbey and transporting from pit to Iloren and Yenidogan stock area (ballast supply excluded).
