PREVENTION OF LANDSLIDE OCCURRED ON SLOPES BETWEEN TUNNEL 16 AND TUNNEL 17 IN 2ND PHASE OF ANKARA-ISTANBUL HIGH SPEED RAILWAY PROJECT

CONTRACT VALUE: 46.803.496,83 TL

Ankara-Istanbul High Speed Railway Project includes the construction of a new separate double-track high-speed railway line which is fully electrified and signalled and with a length of 533 km and suitable for a speed of 250 km/h.

With the completion of the project, the journey on Ankara-İstanbul route will decrease to three hours. It is aimed to increase the share of the railway passenger transportation on this route from 10% to 78%. Ankara- İstanbul High Speed Railway Line will be integrated to MARMARAY and a seamless transportation from Europe to Asia will be ensured.

With the project connecting the biggest two cities of our country, the social, economic and cultural exchange between the cities will increase and our country on the pre-accession phase for European Union will become ready with its transportation infrastructure.

In Inonu- Vezirhan Section of this grand project, Tur Insaat has successfully completed the works of cast-in-place concrete piles, excavation, filling, pack stone filling, gabion constructions for preventing landslides.
