WORK OF CONVENTIONAL LINE DISPLACEMENT (LINE-08) BETWEEN KARAKOY AND BOZUYUK STATIONS ON VEZIRHAN-INONU SECTİON (SECTION-2) ON 2ND PHASE OF ANKARA-ISTANBUL HIGH SPEED RAILWAY PROJECT

CONTRACT VALUE: 12.100.752,16 TL

With Ankara-Istanbul High Speed Railway Project financed by Turkish Treasury Guaranteed Foreign Loan, a railway line will be constructed between Istanbul-Ankara with a speed of 250 km/hour. With the completion of the project, the journey time between Ankara-Istanbul will decrease to three hours.

2nd phase of the project with a total length of 158 km is realized in two sections as Kosekoy- Vezirhan (1st Section, 104 km) and Vezirhan - Inonu (2nd Section, 54 km).

Within the scope of this project, there are 40 tunnels with a total length of 39.100 m (longest tunnel: 4.960 m), 3 cut-cover tunnels of 1.550 m and 32 viaducts of 10.300 m (longest viaduct: 1.961 m).

In addition, a total of 9,2 million m3 excavation and 4,6 million m3 filling works including the earthworks of 21 overpasses, 37 passages for agricultural purposes, 132 culverts and tunnels were carried out.

In Inonu- Vezirhan Section of the Project, Tur Insaat has successfully completed the following works:

-Infrastructure works, earthworks (excavation, filling etc.), underpasses, culverts, various engineering structures (retaining walls, stone pitching etc.), surrounding structures (wire fence, wall etc.) of the conventional line

-Superstructure works of the conventional line: Works for the dismantling the existing line and laying ballast and track etc.
