ANKARA-ISTANBUL RAILWAY LINE REHABILITATION PROJECT

EARTHWORKS, ENGINEERING STRUCTURES, ACCESS FILLINGS AND EARTHWORKS OF VIADUCT, MATERIAL PRODUCTION, TRANSPORTATION, LAYING AND COMPRESSION

Ankara-Eskisehir HSL planned as the first phase of the rehabilitation project of Istanbul-Ankara High Speed Railway Line, which is the first high speed railway line in turkey and started to be constructed in 2003, was commissioned on 13 March 2009.

Throughout the line; 25.000.000 m3 earthwork and construction of 254 culverts, 26 highway overpasses, 30 highway underpasses, 4 channel passages, 13 river bridges, 2 highway bridges, 7 railway bridges and 4 viaducts with a total length of 4,120 m were carried out.

A tunnel with a total length of 471 m was completed. A total of 412 km superstructure was installed.

The high speed line section between Esenkent-Eskisehir was constructed at high standards as double track line suitable for a speed of 250 km/h and as separate from the existing line.

Tur Insaat successfully completed the works for earthworks, engineering structures, access fillings and earthworks of viaduct, material production, transportation, laying and compression.
